I am a writer and researcher of a number of genres, which include poetry, short stories, biographies, and young adult books. I have an honours degree in English and American Literature from Lancaster University and started to read and write from a very young age.

As well as a writer I have a keen interest in antiquarian and out of print books.

Antiquarian and rare books are interesting on different levels, from publishers to cover designs and the style of writing. Each edition re invents itself with a cover to attract the potential reader and, of course, a book sale.

More recently, with the accessibility to self publishing, I have mentored and written books for people with disadvantages who need a voice. I write in their tone and expression to give depth to their experiences and character.

My family are from Carlingford Co Louth Ireland and Somerset, England. I presently live in Co Monaghan with my own family. This is where I can still enjoy my life long passion for horses.
In the last year, I have self published three books with Nielsen’s Independent Publishing.
